Three-dimensional(3D) scanning and printing technologies has proved to be a boon revolutionized Indian society in recent years. 3D is slowly gaining popularity the fields of forensics due its capability provide information all three axis (x, y z) when compared 2D photographs.The technology actively being used forensic medicine, anthropology, ballistics odontology.3D allows better visualisation, interpretation, preservation analysis evidence. The present article highlights applications presents current needs develop incorporate forensics.
